2.1 Information We Collect
- Contact information: name, email, phone number
- Booking information: appointment details, deposit and payment records
- Health information relevant to tattooing: disclosed conditions, allergies, or contraindications you share for safety purposes
- Identification: age/ID verification at appointment (not stored beyond visual verification unless required by local law)
- Images: photos of tattoos/skin for portfolio, healing documentation, and marketing (with your consent per Section 1.9)
- Website data: pages visited, general usage data via cookies or analytics tools, if applicable

 

2.2 How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: schedule and manage appointments, process payments, communicate with you about your booking, maintain health and safety records as required, and — with your consent — share work on social media and marketing.

 

2.3 Third-Party Sharing
We share information only as necessary with: our payment processor and booking platform, **Square**, and email/SMS platforms used for appointment reminders. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

 

2.4 Data Retention
Client health and consent records are retained for a minimum of 3 years, in line with typical Ohio health department recordkeeping expectations, after which they are securely deleted or destroyed. *(Confirm this window with your local health district if they specify a different requirement.)*

 

2.5 Cookies & Website Analytics
Our website may use cookies or analytics tools to understand site usage. You can disable cookies through your browser settings.

3. BOOKING POLICIES — WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK

Thank you for choosing Reverie Ink. Here's what to know before your appointment:

- Deposits: A $25 deposit is due at the time of scheduling to secure your appointment, and goes toward your final tattoo cost. Deposits are non-refundable.
- Rescheduling & Cancellations: Life happens — just give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours, or missed appointments, will forfeit the deposit, and a new one will be required to rebook.
- Running late: We hold a 15-minute grace period. After that, we'll need to reschedule your appointment (a new deposit will apply).
- Before your appointment: Eat a full meal, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol for 24 hours beforehand — it thins your blood and affects healing.
- ID required: Clients 18+ must bring valid photo ID to every appointment. Clients ages 15–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entire appointment, and the parent/guardian must sign a consent form and provide ID and contact information (per Ohio law).
- Guests: You're welcome to bring one guest with you. For safety and space, children are not permitted in the studio.
- Payment: Final balance is due at the end of your session, processed through Square. We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards.
- Touch-ups (permanent makeup only): One complimentary touch-up within 14 days of your appointment. If that touch-up appointment is canceled or rescheduled, it's no longer free — touch-ups outside this window are $175. (Standard tattoos don't include a touch-up window.)
- Aftercare: You'll receive full aftercare instructions after your session — following them closely is key to how your tattoo heals.
